Repairs and restoration to damaged leadlight, stained glass work and lampshades.

At Figtree Stained Glass we provide a same day turn around on repairs to windows, door panels and entryways.

If the leadlight panel is damaged to a point were we are unable to repair on the same day we provide a quick return to minimise any inconvenience.

We approach each restoration with great care. Often a treasured leadlight or lampshade, marred by glass breaks or lead damage, can be restored to its original splendor by our skilled artisans.

We recommend a restoration whenever the piece of glass work has significant sentimental value.

The process of work carried out for both repair or restoration will depend on the amount of damage that has occurred, and each panel or lampshade is assessed to ascertain the best way to repair or restore. Individual glass breaks can rarely be done in-situ.

In our workshop we replace any broken pieces with the nearest possible match, and rebuild the panel using the original glass.
